We as kayak anglers will always need a paddle, regardless if we’re in a paddle yak or a pedal yak. Bending Branches has always been known for quality angler paddles and is the focus of Day 20 of the Yak Outlaws Gift Guide.angler paddles

In 1982, whitewater and touring canoeist Dale Kicker and flat-water racer Ron Hultman teamed up to create the first composite tipped canoe paddle. This unique innovation revolutionized the paddle industry and gave birth to Bending Branches. Since that birth, paddles from this Wisconsin company have propelled people to the places and experiences that people dream of. This spirit of adventure continues to drive Bending Branches to enhance your paddling experience.

Angler Classic

The Angler Classic gives you all the bells and whistles that our high-end fishing paddles do, at a price any kayak fisherman can afford. The rugged nylon-reinforced fiberglass blades are propelled by a durable fiberglass shaft, giving you the push you need without worrying about durability. Check the length of your catch with the dual tape measure on the shaft (in both inches and centimeters), and get those pesky hooks free again with the hook retrieval system built right into the blade. To customize your angling experience, the Bending Branches Angler Classic is available in both orange and green.

The Angler Classic comes with either a snug-fitting 3 hole snap-button ferrule (adjustable for feathering angles 0° and 60°, L or R) or a more versatile telescoping ferrule with infinite feathering angles. If you have multiple boats or multiple paddlers, the telescoping ferrule makes changing paddle length a breeze. MSRP: $139.95

Angler Ace

The Angler Ace just got a redesign. It is a truly phenomenal paddle that successfully combines the performance expected in a kayak paddle with the ruggedness and versatility that kayak fishermen need.
