In our second installment of the 25 reviews of Christmas, we’re introducing the camera booms from Railblaza and Yak Gear.  The Railblaza Boom 150 & Boom 600 Pro Series are the perfect platform to rig your action cam to catch on video that epic fishing trip or trophy fish.  With the large push in the kayak fishing industry of video using YouTube or Vimeo or any other platform, we’re seeing more and more kayak anglers taking advantage of capturing that special trip to share with friends and family.  The Boom 150 and 600 are the perfect platforms to set up your action cams at a variety of angles.

I’m a huge fan of the Railblaza proucts and use them exclusively on my kayaks.  I normally put the Boom 150 towards the front of my kayak for those frontal or hero shots with my action cam or still camera.  Behind me I’ll put the Boom 600 so I get the bird’s eye view of the entire fight.  The variety of angles that these plaforms allow give me the opportunity to try different shot styles.  I’ve even put the Boom 600 in the front of my yak and angled it to just above water level for some sick video as well.  Both platforms will give you the perfect ocam-boom-150-railblaza[1]pportunity to video your next amazing catch.
