Surf Expo had an immense array and selection of Stand Up Paddleboard paddles.  Surf Expo Paddles will show the paddles available from the beginner looking for an cost effective paddle to enter the sport to the higher end carbon fiber paddles.  With a large selection from various manufacturers with an even wider selection of styles, we’re positive that there’s a SUP paddle out there for you. We were actually amazed at the amount of paddle manufacturers and style and color choices available with SUP paddles. Here’s a recap of the Surf Expo paddles we found interesting.

Bending Branches/Aqua-Bound

The good folks at Aqua Bound and Bending Branches were very busy at Surf Expo showing off some great SUP paddles and some improvements to their already solid line of kayak paddles.  A great feature coming forth for the angler paddles is the telescoping plus ferrule option.  Bending Branches will now offer a 15cm adjustable length option on their Angler Classic, Ace, and Pro paddles.  This means these paddles will now be able to extend from 230-245cm and 240cm-255cm creating the flexibility necessary to maximize paddling efficiency in every situation for anglers. Here we’ll take a look at 3 of the SUP paddles offered by Aqua Bound: Challenge, Freedom, and Spark paddles.

BIC Sport

We’ve always been a little enamored with the SUPs from BIC Sports, but this time we focused on checking out some of their SUP paddles. A couple of paddles really caught our eyes, including the SUP Paddle 220 Carbon ML and the SUP Paddle 170 – 210 Fiber ML.  These are some great looking SUP paddles!
