For Immediate Release – Garden City, Long Island, NY –  KastKing has introduced a novel fishing rod concept, KastKing Perigee II Twin Tip carbon fiber rods. The two-piece rods come with two tip-ends in casting and spinning rod models. They essentially offer two different fishing rods for the price of one. KastKing Perigee II Two Piece Twin-Tip carbon fiber spinning rods and baitcasting rods each comes with choice of two rod tips — Medium with Medium Heavy or Medium with Medium Light power.
KastKing also offers a one-piece Perigee II model in both casting and spinning rod models for angler who want a one-piece blank.
All models can be used for freshwater or saltwater fishing.
All Perigee II one-piece and two-piece Twin-Tip casting and spinning rods are constructed with Toray 24-ton carbon matrix KastFlex technology blanks for power, strength, accuracy, and durability, and feature renowned Fuji O-ring line guides, tuned ergonomic high-strength graphite reel seats, high-density EVA grips, Saf-T Keeper hook holder and remarkable cosmetics.
KastKing PTS (Power Transition System) spigot joints are used in the KastKing Perigee II Twin-Tip rods that transition the power smoothly throughout the fishing rod blank. Specialized computer controlled wrapping of the carbon matrix at four angles keeps the power flowing evenly giving them the feel of a one-piece rod.
The tip ends on the KastKing Perigee II Twin Tips have a lifetime warranty. The handle ends, as well as the one-piece models, carry a one-year warranty.
“Once again KastKing lives up to its slogan, ‘Affordable Innovation,'” says Tom Gahan Chief Marketing Officer.  “For anglers to be able to purchase a Perigee II baitcasting or spinning rods for under $60 with the build quality, components, and a lifetime tip-end warranty is impressive. That they can virtually get two rods for the price of one is an incredible value. We put a lot of time, technology and testing into these rods. I believe the fishing public will be pleased.  Pre-release demand has been extremely high. KastKing continues to keep fishing fun with the best value in the fishing tackle world.”

I’ve been fishing over 10 years and the majority of my time on the water has been spent in Texas with the occasional trips out of state. In 2007 I bought my first kayak and a new era in my fishing life was born. I learned the ropes quickly about gear, paddling, fishing, packing, safety and got a degree from the school of hard knocks with a major in kayak fishing. I learned a lot of ways to not do something.
