The Kaku Kahuna is a perfect fishing vessel. That’s a pretty bold statement, but I offer this in defense. Try one out, and you’ll definitely come back impressed! When making our Christmas wish list, anglers will always wish for a new kayak or SUP. We all do it, and for good reason. Who doesn’t want a new fishing machine?
The problem that most of us face is that our significant other can’t or doesn’t want to drop a grand or more on a new “toy”. This is where the Kaku Kahuna comes into play. It is definitely priced to sell. The Kaku Kahuna costs a mere $799 retail making it easily an item for any budget. Kaku Kayak developed the Kahuna with the angler in mind. Loaded with features, the Kaku Kahuna gives the angler an array of rigging options regardless of the style of fishing that you’ll be doing. The Kaku Kahuna is also the only SUP on the market that is already pre-molded and ready for the Power Pole Micro anchoring system.
The Kaku Kahuna comes standard with preset inserts for adding YakAttack slide tracks towards the front of the SUP on each side, as well as inserts towards the rear of the SUP to add accessories like light poles or camera boom mounts. Bungees up at the bow of the Kaku Kahuna aids in tethering tackle bags or soft sided coolers, and there’s also a dry hatch area. There are tie down points already installed which aid when tethering coolers, larry chair, BlackPaks, or coolers.
