Hobie Introduces New Livewell V2 Bait Tank

OCEANSIDE, Calif.  – Hobie, the leading manufacturer of premium fishing kayaks and water sport products, today announces the new Livewell V2 bait tank.  The feature-rich Livewell V2 is the newest addition to Hobie’s robust line of kayak-fishing accessories. Available now, the Livewell V2 can be found at participating authorized Hobie dealers.

“The new Livewell is a plug-and-play product that fits seamlessly in the cargo area of most Hobie kayaks,” says Howie Strech, Manager of Fishing Accessories at Hobie. “Designed for the serious kayak angler, every aspect optimizes functionality and durability.”

The eight-gallon Livewell V2 is built from heavy-duty molded plastic, making it lightweight and strong. It features a sturdy eight-inch twist and seal lid for easy internal access. A high-quality sealed marine-grade switch controls the high-output pump that circulates aerated water in the tank, keeping bait alive and healthy. An adjustable downspout allows for easy water level control, and removable tank partitions keep bait accessible. A pump-cap is included for filling the tank with non-circulating water, and a threaded drain plug allows the tank to be completely emptied of water after each use.

The Livewell V2 comes factory-equipped with three vertical rod holders with the option to add up to eight more, depending on the kayak model. Battery and charger are included.
