As anglers, we can all agree that being caught on the water without protective foul weather gear when a storm hits really sucks, especially if you’re a kayak angler. Columbia Sportswear understands this issue and is soon releasing their newest in the Force XII line of fishing apparel.
The New Force XII ODX rain jacket and ODX Bib are designed to not only function when foul weather strikes, but also keep the angler visible and protected from the elements.
The new Force XII ODX Jacket features a draw cord adjustable hood with a 3-point interchange system. The ODX Jacket features Columbia’s OutDry extreme waterproof breathable construction and has watertight cargo pockets and watertight comfort cuffs. Safety wise the ODX Jacket is 360 degree reflective, is fully seam sealed, and has abrasion resistant overlays. The ODX jacket also features a drawcord adjustable hem and rod holder function. The ODX Jacket will be available in July and will MSRP at $350.
The new FORCE XII ODX Bib gives the angler complete protection from the waist down. Featuring adjustable elastic suspenders, partial elastic at the waist, reinforced knees, and bottom leg zippers, the ODX Bib will fit perfectly on the water. The ODX Bib is fully seam sealed, is 360 degree reflective and also features Columbia’s OutDry extreme waterproof breathable construction. The ODX Bib will be available in July and will MSRP at $300.
For the ladies, Columbia will also be releasing a new Omni-Heat Puffy jacket as well. The Ultimate Catch jacket will feature a 3-point interchange system, heat sealed construction, and zippered hand pockets. The Ultimate Catch Puffy is also Omni-Heat Thermal Reflective. The Ultimate Catch Puffy will be available in July and will have an MSRP at $130.
