SHOWERS PASS EXPANDS WATERPROOF SOCK COLLECTION WITH A MERINO WOOL LINED VERSION
Showers Pass Continues Their Innovations to Protect Against Foul Weather
PORTLAND, OR – Based on the success of the original Crosspoint Waterproof Socks, Showers Pass – has released three new styles of socks to prevent cold, wet weather from putting a damper on time spent outdoors.
While they may feel like regular socks, the Crosspoint Waterproof Socks are fully windproof and waterproof, thanks to a 3-layer construction. Features include a wear resistant knit exterior, a seamless waterproof breathable Artex membrane, and a moisture wicking lining (Coolmax lining on the WP Crew and Hi-Viz Crew, and Merino wool lining on the WP Wool Crew).
“Crosspoint Waterproof Socks offer a practical cross-category solution to cold, wet feet. We are committed to providing advanced design, materials and construction whenever we develop a new product. We are excited to expand our waterproof sock offering.” Says Kyle Ranson, president of Showers Pass. “The result is a sock that feels like a sock, yet protects like a rain bootie. Now you don’t have to choose between breathability and keeping your feet dry.”
As a result of a proprietary 3-D laminating process, the fit is ergonomic in comparison to other waterproof socks on the market. The socks are designed to be a compression fit, delivering maximum breathability during foot motion. The Crosspoint Waterproof Socks are a necessity for the head to toe solution Showers Pass offers to stay dry and warm in inclement weather.
